When I got back into the condo, the bird had reached one of the lower windowsills and seemed confused and unable to fly back out through the lowered blinds, so I managed to corner him, (gently) grab him, and take him out to the balcony where he flew off in an arc that turned suspiciously back toward the building. Hope he found his home.
Then I went to Harry's in Gwinnett, which was closed. *sigh*
One bird freed. You take your victories where you can get them.
