THE GREAT EWIN GIVEAWAY

ANYBODY IN COLUMBUS, ATLANTA, OR ANY OTHER SURROUNDING AREAS IN DRIVING DISTANCE:

Want some stuff?

I am not even kidding.  I want to give away books, food, cd's, movies, etc.  I want to unload before I attempt what I'm about to attempt.  I have an almost-complete hardback set of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time that I want GONE.  And there's much, much more.

Problem is, I don't have the cash to ship.  If you can make it here, I will give you stuff.  This is just a general FYI.

I'm probably going to pack up movies and take a trip to Gamestop and see if they'll buy them; likewise for CD's and the local bookstore.  I know they buy, if not at a very good price.  I have a large computer monitor I'd love to get rid of, too... not to mention a ratty old couch, which I know that Mom is not going to want to move, but which I don't know where I would toss it out, either.  (It's a good couch, the upholstery is just torn up.)

This week is open house for me.  If you want to come by and shop, please do.

Maybe I can get together another load for the Union Valley Mission as well...

Salvation Army or Goodwill or other organizations like that might take the sofa and might pick up-- places vary on what their threshold is for things to pick up, but you may have enough. Maybe worth a phone call or to, because it might save you time if that pans out and they can come by in time?

Wiseacreewin on April 19th, 2010 01:15 pm (UTC)
I have WoT from book 1 through Crossroads, all hardcover, and Fires of Heaven is signed (albeit signed to me). My game selection is a mite pitiful... but you need to come by anyway, because I still have something of yours. Do you think you could make it by this week?
