I happen to like Melissa McCarthy, she is a terrific actress, unfortunately the writing on "Mike & Molly" isn't good.

Maybe you'll be happy to know this is the flame-war heard 'round the net. And Marie Claire is suffering for it with cancellations. It's even made Fox News and been condemned on "The View" and "The Talk." Sharon Osbourne called the writer a Nazi so I guess the topic is dead now.

While I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one calling this out, the topic is far from dead. The writer of that article was merely voicing some extremely common opinions. It was condemned because she was speaking as though from a position of authority, but a quick glimpse through the web, especially comments sections, shows you that girl is far from being in the minority.
