Good stuff

Last night's gaming session was particularly fun and active for me; not only was I multitasking the whole time (I posted a chapter of fic and did a couple other little things) but I also ended up playing two characters, one of which I was very excited about, and, well, various other exciting things happened, including a dead cloned dude in bronze armor materializing in the middle of our weapons manufacturing room mid-play.

We still don't know where he came from or how he got there.

Anyway, I went home, slept, got up this morning and didn't have quite the horrible heavy depressed feeling I had yesterday, so that was good, but I DID want to stay in bed because it was 21 degrees outside...

And then I got to work and all hell broke loose.

This is very, very bad for our department, but very, very good for me.  I am always at my most productive when absolutely everything has gone to shit.  We had a customer threaten to sue us for breach of contract today to the tune of $100,000 -- he has been a nasty, bullying shit to my coworker Tracy for well over 4 months now -- sending nasty notes all over our office.

And I got the first several hours' worth of work done that I've done in weeks, not to mention having my web browser closed for most of the day.

But then we went to barbecue at 'Cue's in Milton -- if you ever, ever, ever have a chance, GO AND EAT THERE, and order the Bananas Doster -- and we've all been in a moderate coma since.

Crazy day.

I wish you more of the things that shake you up and get you moving, then! As long as they're not also frightening the crap out of you, if you thrive on adrenaline, hey, I hope you find it!

(It is _so_ not a surprise that you thrive on crisis.)
